One School One Book

One School One Book is a school-wide reading initiative that brings students, families, and staff together around a shared book to build a strong community of readers and support literacy. Through the Hurlbutt PTO, every student and staff member receives a copy of the selected book to enjoy through classroom discussions and activities. This year Hurlbutt will be celebrating the 14th year participating in the One School One Book program

This year we are reading "A Boy Called Bat", a heartwarming book about a young boy who bonds with a baby skunk.
